If you’ve ever wanted to start your own online business from scratch, but didn’t know how or where to begin, then this article may point you in the right direction.
The Right Mindset
If you really want to succeed in an online business you have to start with the right mindset. To actually make money online requires a certain amount of dedication and hard work in the beginning, getting things set up correctly, but if you do this properly then you stand every chance of making money.
Don’t treat it as a game – it isn’t. To be a success you have to treat it as you would a normal business in the real world. There are certain things you have to do, and in a certain order, and if you don’t get it right you’ll fail. The sad fact is that over 97% of people who try to make money online FAIL! Why? Because they go about things in the wrong way – and don’t take things seriously enough.
Plan, Plan, Plan
You may have heard an old saying in the business world – ‘Nobody plans to fail, but many fail to plan.’ And of course this is true. Who sets out to be a failure?
To be able to succeed in anything you have to have a plan of action. Get this right and you stand half a chance. So, before you go off half cocked and start buying all these products and eBooks from so called ‘gurus’ (all promising untold wealth in the next 48 hours!), just sit down and make a plan of what you are going to do – and in what order you’re going to do them. เว็บไก่ชน
Where Do I Start?
These are the things you will need, so start making a list.
- Domain Name
- Website (Single page will do)
- Product or Report to give away free
- Product to sell
- Method of receiving payments
Does it sound daunting? Actually it isn’t that bad once you know what to do, and by the end of this article you should have a very good idea how to do it.
So How Much Will it Cost?
Not as much as you think. Yes, there are things you have to buy such as Domain Names, Hosting and Autoresponders, but don’t forget this is a BUSINESS you are setting up so there WILL be expenses. Shop around, there are deals everywhere these days.
A single page website is all you need to get started. If you don’t know how to build one yourself for free I’ll show you how later. (Everything you need to do this can be obtained free)There are also hundreds of free eBooks and reports you can use as a free gift to get people to leave their email address on your opt-in form and build your famous ‘list’.
Once you start your list you can then offer a decent ‘product’ to sell, either one of your own or one as an ‘Affiliate’. The advantage of being an affiliate is that you don’t need a product of your own and nor do you need to worry about taking payments and delivering the goods.
Can I Sell Anything?
Yes you can, but you probably won’t be very successful. Before you decide exactly what you’re going to sell you need to do some research. Find out what people are looking for and buying. It would be pointless to try and market a product nobody wants.
The 3 main categories you should concentrate on are known as ‘Evergreen Niche Subjects’ and these are:
Products within these categories will always sell well, so at least to start with, you should look for something among these. You can always ‘specialize’ in rarer niches as you grow more confident.
So What Do I Do Now?
OK so you’ve chosen your niche and either got your product(s) or signed up as an affiliate, now what do you do? The first thing is to choose a domain Name and get hosting (if you don’t already have it). Try and choose a domain name relevant to your niche if you can. Now sign up for your Autoresponder account so you can get your Opt-in form code to put in your website.
Now you need to build yourself a website. A simple one page site is fine to get started. You can download a web editor such as Kompozer and a FTP uploader such as Fileziller (both are free) and by following the simple instructions you can actually have your site live on the internet in a matter of hours! If it all sounds difficult, it really isn’t if you follow all the instructions and do everything in the right order.
