Learning to change bad habits into a healthy life style habits is a challenge to most people. The reason for this is, we get caught up with every day life for instance: kids, work, and school. Who has time for exercise, obviously not a lot of people because the obesity rate is out of control? Another big problem is people want to lose weight quickly and effortlessly and so healthy habits are not developed. If you want to lose weight and keep it off you have to learn how to live healthy.
Sequences of actions are like habits. You automatically follow because you are use to doing them. Have you ever driven some where and some how fell into a trance and some how you drove to your job or somewhere you drive to on a regular basis. That’s a sequence of action you can almost do them in your sleep. When you get hungry you go straight to the candy machine, you get thirsty you go to the soda machine. Just think when you get hungry you grab a piece of fruit or when you get thirsty you drink some water. How about this one, instead of lying on the couch go and take a fifteen minute walk. Make the decision to make the change:
· Incorporate a simple exercise routine in your schedule, something like walking. When you are not an active person doing an exercise like walking will burn calories quickly and burning calories is what you want to do.
· Eating healthy is one of the hardest things to do when you are use to eating junk food everyday. I equate this to being hook on drugs because when you try to stop eating junk food your body goes into withdrawal. And when those craving hits you give in and eat and you eat like you never had junk food before. This is important eat more often, if you eat six times a day you can curb your appetite. Eating a low protein diet will also help you burn. Be very mindful of your portions.
